Rachel is not only an incredible teacher but also an incredible person.  Rachel has taught my 3yr old how to read, speak, and understand beginner Chinese. He can't even read English yet but he is (happily) reading Chinese.  Rachel tailors every lesson to his mood of the day (3yr olds are moody) and he loves his lessons with Miss Rachel.  On top of being the best teacher,  Rachel is an even better person (if that's possible). She makes immense effort to visit her students in their hometowns,  checks in on them if they are sick or traveling,  and sends surprises for holidays, events,  and "just because". My child,  at not even 3 years old, randomly breaks out in Chinese songs and sayings, constantly impressing us and anyone around him. He truly loves learning Chinese with Ms. Rachel. If you can do it, have your child learn Chinese with Rachel, you will be giving them the gift of a lifetime.
